I'm getting ready to lay down the cash on a HS header and from all the threads i've read i know i want the 5 gen. But how can i make sure when i buy the header (brand new) that it will be 5 gen. Does it have a part #?. I'm stationed in geremany so shipping is about $50, and with $418+shipping the best price i've found (non group buy) i'll be hosed if i'm sent the wrong gen.

well as I understand it, the Gen 4s have about the same power just not the same build quality as the Gen 5s. I have the Gen 4s and had to have a machine shop plane the head mounting surface because the HS was not flat. I really like them a lot, now. As I understand also, the Gen 4s have a shiny ceramic coating, almost chrome looking compared to the older series. I would assume the Gen 5s would have the same. I know there is a thread about all of this either in this forum or the NX forum. That's that best I can do. Any one else?
