on a det? just wondering if 8K is possible, or am i looking in the mid 7's?

I believe that the JWT ECUs are programmed for a 7800 fuel cut, but the tach will probably show 8000 or so (the factory tachs are optimistic). My stock DE motor, would not hit fuel cut until 7800 on the tach with the stock ECU, but the stock fuel cut for them is 7500, so this shows you that the stock tach is a little optimistic.

Also I don't think you want 8K or more, I believe I have heard valves start to float around there.

the reason i ask is i now have a personal plate thats says "TUNED" and i changed it to 8K RDLN. didnt want it to not beable to do 8K if my plate says it will. hell i will leave it at 8K RDLN. who cares.thanks

the max you can get is 7950 I believe, in any jwt sr20 ecu

Mine is set to 7950. They can set it higher but usually won't due to valve float. Our cars don't come with the right springs to go past 8k very well. You have to be VERY specific that you want it set to this. Most times a customer tells them to set it at 8k and the set it lower. Jwt is great for this.
