All classics I can remember the doors on had door sag. My 92 does not. Am I in the top 0.1% of classics in terms of door sag goes? Or is it really not THAT common to have?

Mine is just starting to show. (101K) The hinges, well the driver's side anyway, is making a little noise/play. But then I baby my slug. I’ve almost never slammed the door. In fact a lot of times I have to give it the old Bootay Shove to make sure it latches. :)

Mine doesn't have it either. I don't know if the hinges were replaced before I got the car though.

Yeah, we'll see about that. I think it happens when the Classic owner happens to be of the 'well proportioned' variety, and uses the door to support himself while clambering out of the car.

My 92 has more sag on the drivers side than my 80 year old granny! 184k miles. The passenger side is perfect.

I've had my door sag corrected once ($50 at a body shop they bent it back for me), but its coming back. I couldn't stand the wind noise at higher speeds. I may need to actually replace the hinges this time. I've got a 131,000 miles. I think with the heft of the doors, it's just a matter of time.

That might be a bad thing, if you change the hinges, your door will be sagging up :p

I had a door sag on the passenger side, but the body shop fixed it when someone had hit me from that side, haha. I guess you can say that it was luck that they fixed it without any extra charges.

Come on Chris, unlike most of the people here I know you. You are way to old to say you have no sag. :) ;) :D

Some people age better than others. But really, I have no sage, although I have quite a nice Lavendar plant in the front yard, and some Basil in the garden.

I'm beginning to get some wind noise, I think I'm getting a little "sag".:(

So is the only solution to "sag" to replace the hinges?
How much are they? Can I do it myself?

TIA
