There is a chip taken off the left side cam journal area, but it has been throughly checked out and the head is in 100% great working condition with no problems. The chip is not an issue.

Not a matter of being too hard as much as it is being a matter of time and money available. I've got enough going with my High CR engine build. Ready to swap in :biggthump. Just need an ecu and a spare car so I have to fix my dads rx7 before I can do it.

Its a B14 head and the motor I am building is for a B13.

Has a different IM and head setup.

I would if I could.

Bump, someone must be able to use this.

94 B13's came with the lowports. I would put this head for your high comp. build imho.

I have a 93 sr20 though and everything is already together (plus I put about a grand into the head that is on there right now anyways), and I am just waiting for an ECU now :biggthump
It would be more work then it is worth to switch over to this head.

I have the head. Right now the head only has valves, valve springs, and valve stem seals on. I beleive that I have enough cam caps and everything else that I could peice it together and throw a pair of 93 highport cams in there if you want.

the work was done by Jim's Performance Machine in Catonsville.
He was highly recommended, and does a lot of work at Ladds speed shop in Elkridge.
