ZEX/JWT NITROUS COMBOtopdog781 05-15-2007, 07:37 PM DO you guys thing Jwt could make a program that works with the zex kit or has it already been done? Let me know what you guys think? civicdragon 05-15-2007, 08:22 PM i dunno if it'll work as is, cause the zex has a little computer to control the fuel... you could get it to work but most likely you would need a soleniod to get it done However ill wait for someone who has done it to chime in, cause id like to knwo as well topdog781 05-16-2007, 09:32 PM This idea is more for the rev cut and the automatic timing drop features. I think I am going to call them up and see but if you can save me some time let me know your idea's:biggthump elmaestro203 05-17-2007, 08:32 AM its better to run a jwt n/a tune ecu with the nitrous because the zex kits regulates and mix air/fuel ratio by it self topdog781 05-18-2007, 04:41 PM ........................... topdog781 08-11-2007, 12:34 PM Back on this, so what your saying is (If) I get the (JWT N/a tune) that I could spray a zex (dry 55 shot) with no problems. No upgrade to the feul pump, fpr, and injectors. AaroNX 08-11-2007, 04:24 PM You'll be fine with the zex dry kit and the jwt nitrous ecu. The jwt is based on the nos dry kit but the zex is pretty much the same. That's a good way to start out, and eventually move up to wet and direct port setups if you're looking to go all out. If daily driving and safety is your main concern stay with the dry kit/jwt setup. I'm pretty drunk right now btw. topdog781 08-12-2007, 11:54 AM its better to run a jwt n/a tune ecu with the nitrous because the zex kits regulates and mix air/fuel ratio by it self Look what elmaestro said is that ok? because if I don't have the money for the nitrous ecu and (if) thats ok, I am just going to run with the (jwt N/a tune) for now until I can get the funds up. topdog781 08-12-2007, 12:10 PM I also feel that if I do get the nitrous ecu, that if I switch to the nitrous program that the super afc will interfere with the program. maybe I just should not run the super afc. sr20venosfreak 08-13-2007, 12:57 AM I run a 80 shot on my sr20ve and I'm using a NOS wet kit with a JWT 50 shot program.Since the program only provides fuel for a 50 shot I use the wet kit to provide the extra fuel for the extra 30 shot.To chose the right jet.I did a couple of test runs with a wideband.I started with a fuel jet that NOS recomended for a 50 shot. Then I choose the jet that got the AFR at 11:8:1.The JWT nitrios program is a awsome. It retards the timing, and it cut's the nitrios right before you hit the rev limiter. So you have no worrys of hitting the revlimiter on nitrios. It is possible with a NOS or NX kit but I don't know if it will work with the zex kit.I recomened that you get a fuel pump.Your going to need it. | |
