My question is if I use all the stock jdm(avenir) sensors I can also use the avenir ecu...right? Is using all the us sr20 sensors better to do? Also, I've had trouble at least in 1.6 200sx's with some of the internal wiring matching up... meaning if you get a SE-R harness and plug it into the ECU there are a few other plugs, not all of them will mate up... MauiBlueGride 06-10-2002, 09:57 PM Ya best bet is ***** be goto www.car-parts.com and get ya a $70-80 ECU from a SE-R (95+) send it to JWT and get the DET program on it. Prepare to wait for that :rolleyes: Give Jason at www.jgycustoms.com a hollar (I'm from KY hehe) and get a 95+ se-r harness that should take away most of the headache... Best of luck from there. Will a ecu from a 97 200sx se-r do? bigtom 06-13-2002, 05:36 AM you should use the jdm ac bracket. 2.0 and 1.6 compressors are different. jdm 2.0 uses same bolt up as us 1.6. i dont believe there is another option. MauiBlueGride 06-13-2002, 06:48 AM Huh? No the JDM bracket won't work, I confirmed this on my own DET. And the 2.0 and 1.6 compressors are the same.... As for the ECU, yep any year ecu from 95-97 will work. OBDI or II it doesn't matter what his car was right? Just the motor/ECU/harness combo determines OBDI or II I would think. And isn't the Avenir a newer vehicle? Aren't they all OBDII anyways?
