Has anyone ever put power window and lock units into their 2 door B13? If so what did you use, aftermarket or did you retrofit other units? It appears (assuming Edmunds info is correct) that very few B13's had power locks and even fewer had power windows. Apparently only the b13 4 Door GXE had power windows and locks all around, but I've never even seen a b13 GXE. Anyways, I'd like to get some motors, actuators and switches to do power windows. I'll just use cheap aftermarket power lock actuators, but switches would be nice. Anyone done this?

There's a big section on retrofitting power windows to a B13 SE-R. I'd love to have them but this is more work than I can justify; if I ever get the money I'll have aftermarket

Hell yeah it helps! Thanks a lot man! I figured that was what would have to be done, doesn't look too tough though. I put power windows in my Mazda B2000 Pickup and they were never even an option, and even that wasn't too tough. That guy got raped at the junkyard though, I could get all four doors worth of motors and actuators, switches and harnesses for about $120 total at a local yard (If I ever found a 4 door with power windows in my area which is a long shot to say the least). There is a company called SPAL that makes aftermarket units and I think they're pretty affordable. Once I get the time I'm going to establish a business so that I can buy auto stereo and electronics stuff at dealer cost and I'll likely be carrying their stuff and I'll also likely offer stuff at my cost to people on the forum so watch for that later on.
