: Drop Light?

Im in the market for a drop light, perferably a corded one on a reel since a battery powered light would get lost in about 5 minutes. Ive been looking around and not really sure whats good or not. Obviously the Snap-On light would be a good choice but the Snap-On price kinda scares me away. The craftsman looks like junk and the review for it said it sucked. Theres also Bayco but it looks like the company isnt in business anymore and I worry about replacement parts/reliability. Im lookin for a light with a 50' cord so it find its way out onto my driveway.

it dosent have a reel but. i bought mine from advance auto! $15 and it one of those cool tube style bulbs (sorry cant remember the name of those bulbs lol) but i beat the hell out of it. when i get mad it flys accross the room and hits the cement wall, i grab the cord and yank it back with out issue:rofl: wouldnt do that with a $50 drop light i bet

I agree with the advance auto light. I've used those and they are great. They don't get hot, and they put out a nice light for working under the car.

I found this at Northern Tool

on sale for 18 bux or so after making the mistake of getting a single bulb piece at Sears - the light works okay, but they hung the switch out there where anything will flip it off. It's fat, so it's still handy to have a single bulb light around for tight spots, but the light this thing throws is great. If the piece from advance is the same idea, get it.
