ok, my car currently has 200k on the clock, a 2.5inch VRS exhaust, and a JWT pop charger. i put down 113whp on the dyno packs:rolleyes:

i still need to install my SSAC header (2 inch old school style) and my BC stg2 cams. however i would like alittle more umf i you know what i mean. so far im thinking a safe 50 shot wet isnt a bad start.......i cant understand why anyone would run dry:eek2: everything i have read about dry is very scary and all you need to do is T off the fuel line and add an extra solenoid to run wet! no brainer for me.

thi is what im looking to get. for the summer i can imagine i would need a bottle warmer ASAP but it would come when it startes to get cooler.
along with a blow down tube because i dont want to die if theres a freakishly hot day out (http://www.dynotunenitrous.com/store/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=86)
as well as a fuel pressure safety switch because i have never run n20 before, hell iv never even been in a car with nitrous! so im not sure how "bad" the stuff is and i dont want my engine to blow up (http://www.dynotunenitrous.com/store/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=135). that and my car bucks and jumps when its cold so im not 100% sure if my fuel pump is in the best shape, but i dont have to worry with that nifty little piece. :biggthump

am i missing anything? i am brand new to this but i tryed searching as much as possible to piece together what i think is a fail safe setup. remote bottle opener would come around the same time i get the bottle warmer. and a purge system would come a month or 2 after i set the N20 up..........why has nitrous if you can play with purge atleast once in a wile:tongue:

I'm in the same boat, I don't know much about it and I have never used it. I have been hanging around with a buddy alot the past few weeks that has a 100 shot in two of his cars. It is definately fun and is pushing me a little toward purchasing a kit.

i was just going to run my intake, header, exhaust, cam combo and call it quits on power. just do minor mods like bushings and stuff to replace old worn parts and save up for turbo. but the out come from the dyno day reeeeallllllly let me down. and i refuse to have the slowest se-r in my area lol. jen36's NX put down 7 more ponies and he is 100% bone stock.

however, looking around the net and on ebay. it turns out "dyno tune nitrous" is the cheapest of the cheap and deffinatly very high quality.

LOL if your putting down that cute ammount of WHP. Do you really think its a good Idea to throw nitrous at that motor?

On a side note I actually thought about throwing a 50shot on my DE with 230k miles on it! But I only want to do it because I have another motor ready to go in

well i deffinatly want more power.......wether its nitrous or turbo........id rather put nitrous on the car and blow the engine up, swap the engine with a JDM DE, than turbo the thing and blow it up and remove alllllll the turbo jazz and have no money to replace the engine because i just turbod it.

granted turbo will come, just not yet.

F*CK! this is classicaddict
