I always run the nismo fpr with and cheapo gauge from any local parts store I have seen gauges as cheap as $15 with the t fitting...set your stock fp around 36-38 psi make sure when it goes static it jumps up.

How much psi do i run for say a 100 shot?

you still run the stock fp with a wet shot of n2o the fuel jet supplies the needed fuel. When I was useing n2o on my sr20 I tuned it on a dyno with an safc but thats alittle over kill.

Your not adjusting your FP for the nitrous Shot. Your adjusting it because of the Walbro. The nitrous kit itself takes care of the extra fuel needed.

Thats what I was saying. Since your going with a 100shot your going to need the Walbro obviously. But all these guys using stock pumps dont need an AFPR. Its just adding more pointless stuff to the mix at that point.

Since you have the Walbro all your going to want to do is Adjust it back to stock right now. If you really want to get the most out of the shot then your going to want to run it as lean as is possible without the motor running lean. That way your spraying just enough fuel for the nitrous and not killing your HP running rich or killing your motor running lean. For that youd need a Wideband O2 sensor or some Dyno time with a Wideband would work to.

So your saying I don't have to worry about the fuel pressure when i am running nitrous because it will automatically take what it needs. It will just need to be adjusted when i am running n/a or it will run to rich?

Basically if your running a walbro, use a AFPR to set your pressure back to stock settings so it wont run too rich and blow your injector o-rings out.And just change your pills to adjust your NOS shot.

The AFPR isnt for the Nitrous at all. It can help you get the most HP out of the shot you run IF you tune it right. But your buying the AFPR for the Walbro mostly.

With the Walbro sometimes/most of the time comes Higher Fuel pressure because you have a higher voulume pump. In order to dial that extra added fuel pressure out N/A your going to have to turn the FP back down Via the AFPR. You should be able to just leave the Fuel pressure where its at N/A and be ok spraying also since the FP will rise just like it does stock once you turn it down.

Since your running a wet kit the kit is going to add the rest of the extra fuel so the FP going into the rail doesnt really matter. As long as the motors not running lean N/A youll be ok. So I guess you could tune the car to run the leanest you can get away with N/A while still being on the safe side and not even worry about the nitrous since it already has its own fuel supply. Again your going to need to spend even more money for a wideband to tune. BUt you can just turn the FP back down to stock if you dont want to do all that. Or you could just save the AFPR money and not worry about the FP bump lol.

I know you dont have a dry shot. But I was just saying all that because I hate when I search for somthing and everything in the thread I find almost answers my question but not all the way...so hopefully this will save somebody not in the know some money if they have a dry shot/Walbro and were going to buy an AFPR.

But If you did have a dry shot though...instead of spending the extra money to buy an AFPR you could get away with just using a smaller then its supposed to be fuel pill since the FP is already going to be bumped by the Walbro

^^^I hope this all makes sense

I am using a zex kit not nos, I shouldn't have to change the stock psi when spraying regardless of what fuel pump I am running because I have a zex kit and it just takes what it needs, so I really dont need a afpr. The only tme I would need a afpr is if I was running bigger injectors, which would require more psi.

I totally get it now. I'll get a afpr and run stock psi just so i don't run rich n/a. Like I said in the above post the fuel T for the nitrous is before the stock fpr and doesn't have anyting to do with the fp goingto the injectors and the zex will take what ever it needs.

Got it!
