Ben, who owns the board, posted that this board was generating a lot of traffic and that is why the board was kicked off the old server and is now paying extra each month to keep it going on a new server. (The guys who run the board are paying for this out of their own pocket and also from donations form board members. There is no secret stash of lots of cash somewhere.)

The Texas forum post counts have been shooting up at a dangerous rate, and I would hate for brian to have to start locking threads or deleting posts.


Do I sound enough like a parent yet? Our solution is simple. We just need more meets so we can say all this face to face instead of on the boards. :) I will return to my proper non-parental place in life now.

yeah, this is getting rediculous, look at how the forum was like 6 months ago, it rocked. No BS all the time, just lots and lots of friendly helpful technical info, which is the whole point of a car message board in the first place. If you have a topic that does not directly concern SR20's or local SR20 happenings, then post in the off-topic forum, that is what its for, things that are OFF-TOPIC. Remember how a while back people use to always be on smoothdaddyfig's case for posting a lot of meaningless stuff?? well i think we have a few people on here who are about ten times worse than fig....
