Well the NX2000 picture thread was and still is a HUGE success. This one probably wont be. But post pictures of your ventilated hood. Everyone knows about the cooling problems with Boosted Eggs. But its easily solved by venting the hood and or the Front bumper. The challenge is to be able to actually make it flow with the car. Post pics of what you got!

Oh, I want to see this, since I have to do it to my turbo NX. I'll go find the ones I know of and post them back here.

My Absolute FAVORITE EVER!!! I tried to buy this hood. I tried to get the guy who made the hood to make me one ect...it never happend.

That hood blended so well with the NX lines that it was CRAZY!!!

Chris thats the guy that was on here selling his car a while back. He was pushing at least 350whp on his low boost setting. He built the motor from the ground up. I think his names Ian but im not sure anymore. I used to have his number and the guys who made the hood but I lost them when my phone broke. That guy is what the SR20 community is all about! He tried to help me in everyway he could! But he sold the car now and I think he has an S4 now.

I agree, that is my favorite boosted NX ever:biggthump I remember when it was for sale her,too....I wanted it bad!!
I would want the intercooler black though.

The hood follows the same contours as the factory one has,that IS sweet.

looking at that custom grill makes me think it could be made more "OEM" if it looked somthing similiar to the p10 grill perhaps? but it still looks pretty smooth:biggthump

Much better looking front-end Hank. Cleaner, less cluttery (is that a word?) and busy. Looks like equal or better cooling.

I do like that, or the way the black car had those cutouts. Either was is much cleaner and matches the front end more. I may be looking at something like that for the NX!

Thanks guys....I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. All it needs now is a belly pan and the airflow should work really well for track use. At hwy speeds, it actually runs too cool with the 160F thermostat, though. :eek:

...I like the way the Koyo is peaking out in the picture....without the flash and all the sunshine, it looks just black in the slots. I'm thinking about blacking out the FMIC. The less advertising the better....stealth > rice. :D
