I have been debating with myself lately of goin turbo in the future with my nx, it wouldnt be terribly difficult *** i have alot of car nuts for friends and such but my question is how reliable is it and how rigorous is the maintenance schedule?

My second question would i need to relocate the battery?

and last would i have to do anything to the block or head and such like any reinforcements?

i would probably go low on the boost, prolly use a small t25 maybe a t28

fonque,

geting a turbo could be one of the best upgrades you can get. but one of the most diffucult to keep matinece. if your one of those people who wait to change thier oil a turbo is not for you. when you have a turbo, it needs to be cooled just like your engine does. but unlike your engine its more sensitive. an oil line run in between your turbo to keep it cool. when you turn your engine off the oil tends to sit there and cool down . if you dont stop this you could get build up in your turbo and say bye bye to it. to eliminate this there is something called a turbo timer. that keeps your egine on while you leave your car. this cools the oil and eliminates that oil build. as far as removing the battery theres no need the piping will clear just fine. just need to some trimming. theres more to this story then what i wrote. best way to get your info is surf the web and pick up some books or mag. to get some info. peace,
