Okay, so I have e-manage and replaced the stock MAF with a Z32. So, I wired it up according to directions I got from here a while ago (can't remember where/how I found them but)

B15 MAF
White=12V
Red=Not Used
Green=0-5V signal
Black=Ground

Here's what I have for the Z32
White=0-5V signal
Black=Ground
Orange=Ground
Black/white=12V

So, I had the wires crossed and the e-manage sent a trouble code 1 1 and looked that up and seems I had 2 wires crossed on the MAF and switched wires to what I posted above. E-manage is showing no problems and on the "real-time" display is showing the voltage for input and output, idling at 1500-1600rpms ***!

Won't rev past 2500rpms, just starts stuttering when opening the throttle. I have an OBD-II reader that read code 0100, for the MAF, which is also why I switched out the wires. Now, the code reader reads "E"??? I lost the book and can't find the code list, but that doesn't look good.

I am currently lost...I disconnected the battery last night and will plug it back up tonight and try again. The car has MASSIVE amounts of white smoke coming from the tailpipe (but wasn't doing it so much when the MAF was wired wrong???), but no loss of coolant and oil looks fine.

Grab a DVM and it should be a walk in the park.

If the colors you listed for your B15 wiring are correct, then it should go like this:

B15 MAF
White=12V E
Red=Not Used
Green=0-5V signal B
Black=Ground C & D

If it were me, I'd be a hell of allot more comfortable verifying the wires with a DVM before moving forward.

Yep, I am showing that the 0-5V is a White wire, the 12V is Black w/ White stripe, for the Z32.

Instead of relying on wire color on the maf side, used the letters molded into the body.

Okay, I was also told when switching MAFs that I need to let the ecu reset, so hopefully tonight it will be okay? Keeping fingers crossed.
