anyone know how to remove all of the egr system. some dumbass that had the car before me somehow got the spot where the egr tube and sensor go into the exhaust welded and looks like they melted it all around the egr and now it leaks. my friend told me to put quickweld around it but eventually i want to remove the whole system. anybody do this before?

I would just purchase a JDM intake manifold. Then you will have no EGR/BPT. Problem solved.

it's pretty simple.
1st get the proper sized plugs for the header From Hotshot or Stillen. Next remove the long, nasty hot pipe that runs under the distributor to the intake. Now unbolt the 2 EGR "UFO" shaped vacuum valves on the top of the intake (for high port engines). Take the gasket where the EGR valve mounts to the intake (the one with 2 holes in the intake) and use it as a stencil on a thick piece of aluminum and cut your shape out. clean the aluminum plate really well. Get some silicone (Grey is fine) and use it on the new aluminum plate. Use 2 10mm (I think) bolts to bolt it down. Wait at least 1/2 hour for the silicone to cure a little. You now have no EGR shyte to mess up your intake system.
