Ok everybody,
I am looking to upgrade my clutch/pressure plate/throwout ber. and flywheel. I want something that is gonna grab like a cheek-pinching grandmother on christmas. Where do i start looking? I realize that you get what you pay for, but it should be known that i am working a second job JUST for money to sink into my NX, so lets not go too crazy. THANKS

How much HP do you want it to hold?
What mods do you plan on doing?
If you want a clutch that will hold ALL the bolt-ons, plus a 50-shot of Nos, get the JWT (www.jimwolftechnology.com) pressure plate. Use that along with a 2000 Sentra SE clutch disc and you'll be good to go. Don't forget to order a new T/O bearing.
While you're at it, if you've never replaced your clutch cable now would be a good time to do it.

Oh, I almost forgot, you can either order a one piece flywheel, from Jun, Fidanza, etc. or go with a three piece flywheel from Nismo, $tillen etc.
The one piece flywheels can range anywhere from $300.00 on up.
They are usually 8lbs or lighter. And are usually made of Chromoly Steel.
They work nicely, but the downside is, they can only be resurfaced a couple of times before you have to buy a new one.
The three piece flywheels, are Aluminum, but have steel wear plates (to contact the clutch disc) and steel ring gears(for the starter). Those tend to weigh around 11 - 12lbs.
Figure around $300.00 or so for a three piece flywheel.
Those too work rather nicely and since the steel wear plates are replaceable, you'll get more use out of them.
The other option is to have you OE flywheel "lightened". This involves having a certain amount of metal machined off of the backside of the OE flywheel.
Depending on who's machine shop you go to, this can run you around $100.00 or so. Pluss, you'll have to have the machine shop balance the flywheel.
This is a cheaper alternative to the above choices.
And the too work well. Although your motor won't rev as easy as it would with a much lighter one piece flywheel.
The downside is the OE flywheel is cast iron and removing too much material from it can weaken the flywheel to the point that it could shatter. So you'd only be able to have your flywheel safely lightened to about 14lbs or so.
Hope that helps.

another alternaitve for a light flywhell is a pulsar N1 flywheel, it weighs about the same as a stock lightened flywheel, but is safer because it came like that stock. I think the oinly place you could get one of those would be from Andreas
