I look at the pic of the PS header on Nopi site(http://nopionline.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=dsplargepic&vpic=Lpacesetterheader.jpg) Will this connect directly to the cat; thus, no need for the flex pipe? Thanx.

I believe that's just a generic pic that they use for advertisement....So I doubt it....

Did Nopi start carrying them again for the SR20DE???

I spoke with PS directly on the phone about 3 weeks ago and they stated they will not be manufacturing those any more and that their AZ in house manufacturing never made them, but the Mexican factory where they use to be made did. That place is no longer making the PS headers for them since they are now manufacturing themselves.

Well, I went to Nopi follow all the link and there they were, both the uncoated and coated.

The picture in the header does not show all the piping. The PS uses a flex joint, and not the flex pipe, so the downpipe is actually 2 pipes. Here is a pic of my old PS downpipe next to the HS (Pacesetter is on the left)

Well Its311Pete, your pic didn't show up, but thx anyway. Fast91SER, great pic. That what I was figure since I had PS on my old Escort GT. That one has a flex joint too. Gonna order the ceramic coated one from Nopi, let you guys know what happens. Oh, where can I get good gaskets set for the header? I know that PS only give you crappy paper gasket. Thank again.

That crappy paper has withstood 2 years of Honda/Acura kicking ass!!

But if I had to change it I would go with a copper gasket.

Those MF'n idiots. I called Pacesetter on the phone and asked them for some info on the SR20 header because I bought mine used and also was asking about the possibility of using a donut gasket on their compression fitting. The guy was some what sarcastic and had mentioned that they are no longer making those headers since they moved their manufacturing fro Mexico to in house. His replies were short and [sarcasm]oh so much fun to talk to[end sarcasm]

Oh well. Glad to see they decided to keep making them for people who are on a budget.
