1. I have a hole in my flexpipe of my Hotshot header, would that rob you of precious horsepower and hurt acceleration due to the loss of back pressure.

2. Besides advancing your timing, and normal tune up procedures is there any other way to tune the SR20DE to its fullest potential.

My Mods are as follows: CAI/H/E 2 UR Pulleys Set. My friend with an otherwise stock SE-R seems to be making more power with just a CAI and Header than mine.
My Problem is that my fans don't work unless the temp sesnor is disconnected, I know that this is making my ecu throw a code and making my car run crazy rich which is making lose HP. I want to work all of this out before I go turbo so that I have a reliable engine that is capable of being turboed out. The motor is a 9.5 JDM spec.

3. Which pressure plate is the best choice for a T28 Setup a JWT PP or ACT HD PP.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Someone needs to say something. I just had my flex pipe replaced on my old headers (i just got a AEBS header) and when the flex pipe was bad I had no noticeable losses in power. Just loud as hell. I think you will be fine but any muffler shop can cut that old one out and replace it for usually under 150 and that includeds labor. Tuning wise look for correct ground voltages on the maf, set timing, look for vacuum leaks and replace filters, plugs and wires. www.se-r.net covers all that stuff along with the archives. Good Luck!
