Due to people not really giving a shit, my passenger side door is a mess, with lots and lots of dings and paint scrapes. well i guess its notthat bad i just get pissed when people open up the door right into something!!!
anyways, there is an NX1600 in the local scrapyard with the passenger side door in really good shape, the only thing is, it doesnt have power windows or mirrors, and mine does, Is it possible to move all my power studd to that door and put it on?

Might take a little work, but I think you should be able to do it.

LOL, I am thinking about doint it the opposite way, putting the "powered" dors into my "non-power" car. I have them already and am just debating about doing it.

That wouldn't be to bad.. but moving the actual components from one door to another.... I'd dread that.

For what you pay for a junkyard door, is it even the same color? and hassle of swapping in power windows, it might be cheaper to try one of the paintless dent removal guys. $50 for the first dent and it gets cheaper from there. As for the scratches you might try some rubbing compound and
wax and see what happens, you got nothing to lose.

They work by smoothing out the dent from the
inside. Say you have a door ding, they will pull the interior door panel off and stick a long "spoon" in there to press the dent out. If done
right it will disappear. The best results are dents that don't have a sharp crease.
Its paintless in that most dents these days don't
break the paint, so if you can just push the sheet
metal back out you are good to go, no need for bondo and repaint.
They go by names like "dent busters"
Do a search on the web for paintless dent removal
to get some names.
