Hi folks, I'm looking at a '99 g20t this week and I was wondering what kinda stuff I should be checking for.

Its got 116k miles and seems to be well maintained.

I am a noob to nissans, but I know my way around cars pretty well.

SR20's arent prone to have serious problems, a motor with 116k and well maintained sounds like a good deal to me. I doubt you'll have any trouble with the car if it was well maintainted. hows the body?

SR20DE's are very reliable engines and are known to go over 200k.

One thing I would do, and since I just found about about this problem, Open the oil cap on the engine take a flash light and look inside. It should be pretty clean. If the engine looks anything like this, don't buy the car!

Ask and see how often the oil was changed and if everything has been maintained.
