: started work on a clear corner deal
Fonque 06-12-2002, 03:16 PM ok clear corners on our cars look too damn tight to pass up so, i came across this company eager plastics located in chicago. I gave them call and asked about makin my own lenses he referred me to some products they sell. I also asked him about having someone do a custom job and he said he would get back to me with an email or a phone call with a list of ppl who might be willing to do it, if that doesnt come through then i just attempt to make my own.
check out the website and call to let them know that im not lying when i say there is a demand for these things. Nxer's always get shafted :P

the guy that is doing them needs 2 new enses to make the mold from and they have to be new so i will take care of that.
the cost of the lenses complete he is estimating they will be around $50 per pair of turn signal lenses. He wants at least around 25 people in on this before going ahead with it since material to make the lenses has to be bought in bulk.
the more people that get in on this the cheaper the lense.
the final price will not be set until he can actually get his hands on a pair of lenses, so he can determine the exact material costs. the lenses will be uv protected so they will not yellow.
Da91NX 06-13-2002, 11:55 AM i wonder if they could make clear tails lenses. I remember a few people wanted them. Someone must be able to have some spare lenses?

Pretty White 06-13-2002, 05:36 PM OK, here is the deal. The front lenses come apart from the housing. Thats a good thing as it can make the project cheaper. I am willing to let him use mine as a mold. As for the clear sidemarkers, the NX and Sentra share the same side markers so if you want this to go thru get all the B13 guys in for the sidemarkers. Lets get this NX stuff started NOW!
