Hey guys I'm finally getting around to upgrading the suspension on the nx from Intrax and Monroe (I know I know) that have been on it since I bought it (March 99). My questions are 1. Should I run any kind of dust boot and if so what kind? 2. What parts from the old assembly (wear parts) should I replace? I already bought Koni bumpstops but I'm curious about the mounts and insulators etc...

Thanks,
Matt

Well you could replace the "top cushion mounts/insulators" with new factory ones as the rubber in the old ones is probably pretty soft. Solid ones will transfer more shock energy into the car body. Not the best idea. Replace the "steering needle bearings" on the top just under the cushion mounts. The bearings are really the most important thing. If the rubber "spring insulators" are worn, then you might want to do those. Dust boots are a good idea. might want to use the factory ones.?.? Up to you. Enjoy the ride bloke.
