Alright, well I'm going to be back home on LI for about a week before I leave for Japan (Hellz yeah, bitches!) and I was thinking of advancing my timing and slapping in my Themoblock spacers which I've had hanging around for a couple of months. My dad is going to help me out with the timing (he owned a garage for about 10 or so years when he was younger), but I don't think he'll be too excited about ripping apart my intake manifold.
I know that I could just bring my car to a shop and have them installed, but I get a kick out of doing everything that I can to my car myself. Unfortunately, this is fairly intimidating as I've not only never taken apart an intake manifold, but since my car is originally from California, it appears to have a million extra vacuum hoses all over the manifold that my friend (MaximumYin) doesn't have on his RR SR20.
If there's anyone on LI that has had experience in either dismantling and re-assembling an intake manifold, or better yet has installed a set of Thermoblock spacers on a low port SR20 before, I would greatly appreciate a hand. I am willing to pay with food :jammin:, beer :cheers:, or cold hard cash (within reason, of course :tsk: )
