: First time at the track tonight...
RedDragun 06-02-2007, 08:16 PM Any suggestions? I was able to get some 22" slicks, I'm going to run them at 8 psi.
According to my setup, what should I launch at? I really don't want to nuke my tranny or snap an axle... I have never been drag racing before so any help is appreciated.
RedDragun 06-03-2007, 02:32 AM I couldn't get the slicks to fit, so I ran on my Falken Ziex 512's lol.
Well first time I ran a 15.5 at 65mph because I didn't know how far to go (they don't really tell you what to do and how the light works).
The second run I ran a 13.8 and I was very impressed. I will post the slip later *** I am tired as fawk.
AaroNX 06-03-2007, 01:22 PM What kept the slicks from fitting?
RedDragun 06-03-2007, 05:02 PM The centerbore of the wheels.
AaroNX 06-03-2007, 05:21 PM Ahh, aren't you the one that has a thread asking about that?
AaroNX 06-03-2007, 05:22 PM Nevermind wasn't you.

There is the slip.
RedDragun 06-03-2007, 09:48 PM ....
coryb13ser 06-03-2007, 10:35 PM that slip is almost an exact copy of my stock t25 w tmic set up. stock boost. get some slicks and should be low 13s...
RedDragun 06-03-2007, 11:13 PM keep in mind this was my second run on a strip EVAR!
I think I could have done low 13's with the tires I had.
12's are in sight with slicks this next weekend. What is the max boost I should run on a T28 with 370cc injs?
I wanna slap the new turbo on but what boost is going to give me the some power on a T28 as my T25 did?
Octave236 06-07-2007, 01:53 PM just get 20$ spacers at Oreily Auto and the slicks will fit. who needs a center bore?
RedDragun 06-07-2007, 04:18 PM I don't see how that will help.
GTi kurt 06-09-2007, 01:05 PM I don't see how that will help.
Because you said the centre bore was wrong, so...........by using spacers it by-passes the bore, and just bolts straight on.
Baring in mind, you have the right stud pattern?
RedDragun 06-09-2007, 07:32 PM The hub sticks out like an inch or so, how the hell is a spacer going to help? I would have to have super long studs too.
Yes they are 4x100.
AaroNX 06-09-2007, 08:33 PM Your hub does not stick out an inch. Pay attention next time you have a wheel off. The spacer will fit on AROUND the hub and extend past where it sticks out so that the wheel will fit on the way it should. Both me and Octave236 as well as many others use spacers with our Lenso 13x7.5 wheels with slicks on them.
RedDragun 06-09-2007, 10:26 PM I thought you meant spacers on the lugs lol. Can someone link me to what I need, because I can't find it for the life of me.
AaroNX 06-10-2007, 04:11 AM This will give you the general idea.

RedDragun 06-10-2007, 12:02 PM So just any 4x100 spacer? What size are our hubs? How thick... sorry I just want to get these slicks on!
I ran a 13.46 @ 107mph last night on my Falken all seasons lol.
veilside180sx 06-10-2007, 12:16 PM Our hubs are 59.1
AaroNX 06-10-2007, 02:00 PM Yeah any 4 lug spacer you find should work.
