ok, after driving my car today ive realized i hate my stock throw. and i have the dough for a short shifter. my question is, what shiftknob will work with the Pacesetter shortshifter withought cutting the threading off? will the stock one work? please help as i am wanting to get this thing really soon. like in the next day or so. ive heard the greddy one will work perfectly with the pacesetter, but i dont know. PLEASE HELP!

Your stock knob will thread on to the Pacesetter shortshifter just fine.

Installed PS Short Shifter w/es shifter bushing last fall and been nothing but :D :D :D ever since.

I had the pacesetter SS on my old 93 NX2k, I was kinda disgusted with how far the shifter came up so i hacked about 3" or so off of it, it takes away the threads so i would find the shift knob you really really like and JB weld the thing to the shifter. Its crazy how much better the feel was after chopping it. It reminded me of my old delSol shifter, really nice mod if you dont mind going through a couple fiberglass reinforced dremel cutting disks and have about an hour or more to kill.

Mine didn't. Ok, so it wasn't the stock shifter, it's a stainless steel shifter I designed and had machined, but it fit on the stock shifter great. I had to rethread the whole PS to get it to fit. Go figure. Maybe they just messed mine up from the factory.

Anywhere. I got mine @ a local parts store that specializes in American muscle cars.. Most auto Parts stores have a growing line of import parts. just for refrence don't pay more than $10 for the shifter bushing.
