Looks like we have the fifth person onboard, so I will go ahead and place an order later this week. If anyone else is interested, please let me know by Friday June 20, so I can add more kits to the order.

Thanks!

Hey Everyone! It has been a long time since my last group buy on this forum, but I was recently able to get a deal on some Apexi Super Grounding Systems, so I am sharing the news with the forum first. The Apexi Super Grounding System is a great simple upgrade to help release some extra horsepower.

Here is a link to Apexi's site with all of the info:

http://www.apexi-usa.com/product_electronics_detail.asp?id=224&pageNum=1

This is taken directly from their site:

Developed using innovative new concepts, the new A'PEX Super Grounding System stabilizes electrical noise and voltage spikes. The Super Ground System maximizes electrical component efficiency by combining an electrical grounding system with a battery current and voltage stabilization control unit. The control unit features an electrical charging system and electrical noise filter. The double noise filter smoothes turbulent electrical current, providing a stable and consistent voltage flow to all your vehicles electrical devices. The A'PEX Super Grounding System maximizes the efficiency of all factory vehicle electrical systems, allowing smoother engine operation, more efficient electrical component operation, and improved electrical current. The stylish voltage stabilizer box compliments any engine bay with its attractive case design and ominous backlit A'PEX logo.
- Uses a high capacity Double Condenser and Double Noise Filter
- The A'PEX Super Ground System uses a high purity, temperature resistant OFC cable (non-oxidized copper) Copper wire diameter: 0.12mm X 665 utilizes inter-twined wire.

"We are pleased to announce that during a recent dyno test for D-Sport magazine, the new A'PEX Super Ground System made an outstanding 8.5 horse power to the wheels. Testing was conducted on a 2004 Subaru WRX STi using XS Engineering's four wheel chassis dynamometer. Previous modifications to the car consist of upgraded intake, downpipe, exhaust, and front mount intercooler. Power output was increased throughout the power band with a maximum gain of 8.5hp at 6000 RPM (400 RPM sooner than baseline max power). This test proves the real world capabilities of the Super Ground System."

Installation is straight forward with simple positive and negative connections, and then connecting the ground wires around the engine bay. If you already have a grounding kit from those previous group buys, then this will really help make a major difference as you can link most of the ground wires in daisy chains to further help release power. These systems are brand new in the box with the instructions, but to help save on shipping, I will be taking them out of the plastic box. They will be complete with the warranty from Apexi, and I will ensure they are wrapped and shipped correctly.

The group buy price will be $150 shipped, and these retail for $249 plus shipping, so you will save over $100 for this system with this group buy. I accept Money Orders and Paypal, but if using Paypal please add the 3.5% fee, and this is why I would prefer a Money Order to avoid the fees. My Paypal address is: NisMotorsports@hotmail.com

We will need at least 10 people for this group buy and it will end July 1, 2007. If anyone has any questions, feel free to post, PM, or email me at NisMotorsports@hotmail.com

So is this just that stabilizer, or does it come with grounding wires also? I'm interested.

It is the complete kit, brand new in the package from Apexi. I PM'd you and everyone else interested in this thread with actual photos of the product. Sorry, but due to piracy, I cannot post the pics in this thread, so if anyone else is interested, please contact me through any of the means in the first post, and I can send the pics.

Thanks!

Everything will be outlined in the instructions, and it is suggested to ground the head, alternator, and main chasis ground.

Thanks!

I'm near Newark, but it would probably be cheaper to ship (around $5) than spend the extra money on tolls and gas.

Thanks,

Danny
