how do you fix the throttle cable and if it is loose then would my car like sound like it is dying and shit ... the reson this happened is because i had put an intake ing and when i got it back the cable was really loose and that is the first thing i could think of any help would be great

well the slack in your throtle cable would not be the culprit for bad idle. you need to adjust your idle speed using the idle speed adjustment screw. go to www.se-r.net and read up on how to do it there it explanes every thing. and it also tells you how to take the slack out if the throtle cable too if you want to tightin it up.

well today i went and got the throttle cable tightened up and like tonight when i started my car it was like fluttering all the way down to like 200 rpm and then when i tried reving it it like would stick and not go anywhere and i had the gas slammed hard. i am usally pretty good at fixing things but what is going on puzzle's me alot any help will be great thanks alot .. brian

no i had one of my boys do it at the shop and like now it is ideling at around 1000 which is good but it is still sounding like it is dying i don't no what is wrong with the freaking thing i mean i am clueless any help would be great ....

This started after you had an intake installed? Sounds like a vacuum leak to me.

hey guys i found out what is was the problem was coming form my air sensor so i got one ordered and it is on the way thanks for all your help and i will be putting pics up soon thanks ... brain
