ok my speed sensor is not connected and my car cuts out whenever i aproach 7000rpm in 3rd gear i was considering getting a Jim wolf ECU but was offered a Emanage deal so i was wondering if the E manage would eliminate this problem

The GTi-R has like a 108mph speed limiter if I remember right. Every piggyback unit will do that. The JWT ECU may be able to change the speed cut, I know they can change the rev limit. Apex-i and a HKS and Greddy all made speed defenders that would allow you to run higher MPH. You can often find them on ebay still. Those would allow you to use the emanage to tune and get the speed limiter issue fixed.

Yeah, 118mpg(180Km/h) is the factory speed cut. Is easy enough to get around with a speed cut defender.

So will the speed cut defender still work with the speed sensor not connected because the sensor in the gearbox is the cable one and got no plans on connecting it.

Your not encountering the speed cut then if the ECU has no road speed input. You are experiencing 'load' cut, when the ECU sees a LOT of air but not speed.
Definitely need a JWT ECU to fix that.
