I may NEED TO REPlace my maf sensor. how much does it cost? and how do i know that the one that i have is still good? and can i put a (cobra?) maf sensor on? i do not have turbo but i plan on doing it soon.

If you are going to use a Cobra MAF, you need to get your ECU reprogrammed so I would say get a regular stock MAF.

IIRC, the MAF is a pretty expensive part. I think I remember hearing it's over 200 bucks. I may very well be wrong though.

I bought one from Nissan at cost and I paid $238 That was like 2 years ago.

I KNOW that it is a expensive part since i am going turbo soon i figure that i will get the cobra mas i have a apexi multichecker maybe i can adjust it from that? how much is a cobra maf? i do not want to waste money by buying a ser maf. i am going turbo in a matter of months so i figure get the upgrade maf live with the power loss. what other problems can occur by using the cobra maf without the ecu upgrade. days like this makes me want to get individual quad bodies they make it for our cars right?

Multi-checker doesn't adjust anything, it just reads. The values from a cobra maf are WAY off for a stock ECU. meet your new friends no drivability and mil light.
