I loved driving my NX. Went back to the Sentra SE and it was ok. Now that I've got a 92 classic that's much more ghetto looking than my NX, I love it even more! Not only is the car just a BLAST to drive, but it was much less expensive than my NX and I don't have to worry about the exterior! I love it! :D:cool:

having a shit box is so nice isnt it. screw looks cause well....it dont have any. just get you there and back fairly quickly, reliably, and with a smile on your face.

i put some low grade gas in my car the other day when i found out i was broke and man the car feels peppier now. maybe since lower octane burns easier it helps it since i dont have the timing bumped up. but it put a smile on my face when i tapped the throtle and it urged forward. now to change my oil

Hehe, yeah, classics rule!!! :D

I miss my classic a lot, but I am pretty happy with the NX that took it's place.

But ghetto exterior is definitely the way to go. Nothing like not having to worry if your car is gonna get a scratch. When I get new dents, I never even realize it anymore. :)

Congrats on the purchase. It's good to see you having fun with it.

Looks, beauty/whatever, are in the eye of the beholder, right? I like the look of the B13.

hey i felt the same exact way when i used 87 octane. At first i would always use the cheap stuff since im low on cash all the time and then i decided to put 93 octane, and it didn't feel peppier at all, But to me it seems that 87 does just as good as 93 on my cassic. Egh, but now ihave the timing bumped to 19 and am forced to use 93 octane, so , ...yeah

I've had 19 degree timing on all my SR20s for years and have always used 87 octane (except when I was turbo) and have never heard a ping. Don't spend your money on 93 unless you are running a JWT ECU or are turbo is my recommendation.

I'm at that point too. Sure, I would like to get my car painted. I took out my antenna last summer and put a piece of tape from under the fender to cover the antenna hole...its ghetto, but I dont care. :D

fast91ser, what did you replace your antenna with? i think the antenna on my car is busted. i can't listen to the AM stations without a tremendously annoying buzzing sound. looking to redo/rewire/replace the antenna, altho i'm not sure it's the source of my problem. anyways, if anyone else out there has suggestions, please enlighten me! thanks!

I used an antenna strip. Costs $5 at Radio Shack, basically a small roll of tape, with a thin metal strand in the middle. I just taped it around my windshield, its out of view though, you cant even see it.

thanks for the info! i'll check into it. as for reception, i take it that you have no problems? and one last question, does it make a difference whether it's the front or rear? i think bmws and most other car manufacturers put theirs on the rear, but for what reason, i have no clue.

I've had no reception problems at all. In fact, I think its a little better. If you run this strip to the back window, it will go under the headliner and might not even reach that far back. I ran it under the passanger side A pillar, then right under the headliner to the driver side, and down the driver side A pillar.
