im looking for the best sound possible. ill be using the liquid ED blue sound deadener on the doors and door panels, rear deck and ikea brace, under the rear seat, and rear 1/4 panels. useing a high quality 4 channel amp and i want the separate tweeter and crossover design so i can place the tweeters up higher.

i have found you can tell a lot about a speaker just by looking at it. look at the size and shape of the mag, how much movement is allowed and the general qualtiy of the materials used. But in any case if you build the right speaker box for your subs they will sound good.

I've never used the PC series, but the Blaupunkt Velocity and Overdrive serises have done my great for years. Blaupunkt is one of the top brands in Europe and the stock speakers for Porsche.

If your looking for a good sound, just remember that having good speakers are pointless if you dont have a good head unit and a powerful amp to push them. To many times have I seen speakers go to crap because the amp pushing them was some POS from walmart or something like that. Much like the oil we put in your lovely cars, you get what you pay for. If you want a good sound you might have to drop a pretty penny for some part of it.

ok, i found these speakers on some site for nearly $30. they are an old model from last year crutchfield used to sell for $80.

i figure i will buy some old model speakers (not looking for $200+ speakers) and i will sink most of my money into a high quality amp since thats where most of the sound quality comes from. currently i have a panasonic headunit, its a very good headunit but i can not remember the model #. 4v preouts, front, rear, sub. its good.
