I've been without my car for the last 5 weeks due to it being at a bodyshop. the amount of work that had to be done should have only taken 1 week. ( This was the estimate by the owner of the bodyshop ) The car needed the hood, passenger side fender, passenger side headlight, passenger side parking light, and radiator support fixed. Just a minor fender bender. No here is where I begin to get frustrated. 1rst week...supposedly a couple of the body guys quit. 2nd week..supposedly the main body guy went on vacation? (WTF?) 3rd week...go to check on the car, car is parked in the exact same place I left it when I dropped it off? 4th week...Bad Batch of paint? (WTF? again!) 5th week...car is finally worked on ( Im sure they started at the beginning of the week. ) car has been painted and only thing left is for the parts to be installed and realigned. So now it seems that i'll finally get my car back on Monday. ( Well, thats what THEY SAY anyway. ) Know during this whole ordeal i've been extremely nice to the owners of the shop. The only reason was the fear of them holding the car even longer out of spite. Now I have to admit that the shop is doing some extra work for me. ( Repainting the car with a custom color and some other minor things ) Which they factored all into the orginal estimate of the insurance claim but still...This fawking sucks!!!! I want my car back!!!!!!!!! Sorry for the long ass post..but I had to vent.

Hey Bro,
I feel your pain. I had my classic sitting in my yard covered up for over 3 months waiting on parts for my suspension. I can relate with you the suckage on waiting on your ride. Jay is currently installing my suspension.
Like you, I can not wait till I get my car back and have fun driving again.

sorry to hear that. Same thing happened to me when i got my car painted, the assholes at macco said it would only take a week tops to paint and to fix my car and put on my body kit, yeah right more like 6 f#$%king weeks!!!!!. learned my lesson not to do business with macco. I feel for anyone who gets treated badly at performance shops, paint shops, etc.... *** i know what it feels like. I used it as a life lesson and reported them to the bbb after that ordeal.

after my car got smacked in back by some idiot lady who didnt realize that just because the light turned green she should go, i took it to a little local body shop and they fixed it for me same day, but they did a horrible job. i wouldve much rather had em keep it for a while and do it good.

I've been waiting for my engine to get back to me for about 8 months now. The guy told me no more the 3 months. I just hope it comes before winter so I can start breaking it in.

When I wrecked my Beretta it sat at the body shop for two weeks before I found out that the ins. company was going to total it. Not the body shop's fault at all, but still a shitty deal. Sounds like these guys need to figure out how to estimate. I know as well as anyone that the shit takes time, I've been working on my truck for 6 years, and It's still gonna look like shit. However, it's their job to accurately estimate how long before your car will be done. If there are cars ahead of you, that's fine but they need to include that when they tell you how long it will be before your car is done. By the way Nismo, you've taken first place, that is the nicest classic I've seen yet!

I had some chick try and make a left had turn through my 200SX's driver's side door. It's been in the shop for a month now and I am supposed to finally get it back. But like was said... if you want it done right, sometimes you gotta wait...
