You mean a hatch cover that hides all the stuff in your hatch, right? Yes there was. The little legs that it pivots on get broken real easy. Then the little pegs that hold the strings to the hatch get broken. Before long, the hatch cover is sitting in your back room closet buried beneath a bunch of stuff you should have thrown out years ago, not to be found again until long after you've sold the NX.

Dealerships still sell the little pegs that the strings attach to, for about $6 each (that's harsh for a piece of plastic). They don't make the clips on the underside of the shelf ***.

lol yeah i went to the stealership to get one ..... and the counter guy (only decent person i've encountered at a nissan dealership) looked at the plastic thing and said "6 bux for this fuckin thing, how much do u feel like paying for it?" I told him i'd give him 2 bux, and he goes "sold"

U suck! LOL I had to pay full price for the stupid things. $12 something plus some change. I got robbed! Stupid stealerships... :squint:

I am not sure who sold them but a forum member makes some really nice metal pieces for attaching the cover by the seat on the pivot point. I may not be using mine so i might sell the cover and metal pieces.

Your not lying, I've been confronted a few times for 35% tint and the legal limit here is like 32% but they always swear its darker. I've had it metered by 2 differant places and they both said 35% and wrote it on a ticket thingy for me so now I just flash that when they try to say its darker. Dumb cops think im stupid :rofl:

Wow, they're strict about tint? Here, we can go as dark as we want, as long as it's all in the rear.

Yeap the cops here hate anything that isnt stock. I've got crap about my stereo and numorous other things just buecause it didn't come from the factory. It sucks a huge set of donkey balls.

On my Civic I used to have I had 35% tint on the sides and 15% on the back window. I got pulled over a few times but I pulled the stupid girl act and I got off everytime. It rocks being a girl, I've gotten out of so many tickets. Don't mean to brag :)

Uhhh anyway, for the cargo shelf clips I fixed mine by drilling holes in the ends, putting a screw through the holes (with the heads sawed off) so they sat in the holders and then epoxyed the rest of the plastic to make sure they held up. It's not the prettiest thing in the world but good thing they are on the underside of the cover.

that peice that attaches the cover to the seat or w/e..... you can actually steal them off a s13 hatch. I did that then went to the hardware store and got some bolts that were the right size but way to long.... and i was just going to hack saw the end off ..... but that was like 5 months ago and i still haven't cut them down..... so theres just big bolts sticking out of my cover

yeah cops suck i had one try to tell me that my windows are tinted because of the black part around the edge of the rear side windows. He thought that was tint, LOL last i checked its factory and you cant see out of it at all. I also got pulled over last week for my blue corner lenses and side markers but the cop was pretty decent and diddnt say anything about any other "illegal" mods.
