niteshades tint spray.... or you could mix clearcoat with a little bit of black and use it... the only problem is roughing the surface slightly to make sure it sticks...

safety note: if you can, make sure you have fog lamps, or bright lamps or something of that nature as well... because it will diminish your sight distance at night.

Do you have a problem with seeing too well at night? LOL come on man tinting your headlights is just plain silly and most likely illegal too.

see, i was kinda wandering the same thing. i wanted to do mine a really REALLY translucent blue to go with the scheem of my project. i'm painting it bayside blue metallic and i wanted the headlights and fogs to have a slightly blueish tint to them.

I was thinking of just mixing in a little bit of blue with some clear coat, but was wandering if there was a different way of doing this. maybe a high temp paint that you have to use?

I was a passenger in a car that went through a brick wall, jumped off an embankment, then landed in a tree. We kinda-sorta hit a telephone pole, but that was just with the mirror, so that doesn't really count.

He had tinted headlights. I recommend against it.

I have the Tsuru headlights on my 94 B13 and am planning on cutting out two yellow circles and tinting just the city lights on them- I think it would look sooo fresh and clean. Doing the corners as well if they offer an amber color- wont have to worry about the Krylon paint- Plus gonna do My B13 OEM fogs a slight yellow too. If you ever wanna take it off you can always peel it off- win win situation, plus they protect your headlights from rocks and chips too. They even offer a smoke tint for those that dont want to paint there headlights- just hit em with the lamin-x. Check it out!

i tried some night shade stuff on my head lights one day...removed it later that night. it was simaliar to driving with just the parking lights on. maybe yellow would be ok.

a cool trick for mixing 2 cans of spray paint, stick one can in the freezer ( the one you want to add to), find a bic pen ink tube, or maybe wd 40 spray straw what ever you can find that fits. connect the frozen one to the room temp one via your straw and fill one with the other. (disclaimer if the plastice tubing isnt the same size or something else goes wrong get ready for a mess!!... get ready for a mess anyway :)

I've got that on my track NX. It's great stuff, however it does cut down on the light output for sure.

KMA. Surprisingly, no one was hurt. Funny thing was the car (automatic) was still running, spinning the tires on a tree branch. Had to tell him to turn it off. Real fun getting out, then watching the wrecker attempt to extract the car.

Worst part of all: when we came upon the "corner" we thought the road made a 90* turn. My friend tried to make the 90*, but his car compromised and gave him 45*, resulting in an unplanned detour. Upon further examination, the corner was at the crest of a hill, and the road we were on kept going perfectly straight. Bummer. Of course, this shows just how much less crap you can see with these stupid things. Luckily the tree broke our fall, otherwise we would've landed in someone's living room.

I've got that on my track NX. It's great stuff, however it does cut down on the light output for sure.
Yep. Any tint on your headlights, regardless of color, does exactly that. As cool as it may look guys, think about your safety and those around you and at least add some driving lights (properly aimed, of course) if you just have to do this...

I totally agree with you there bro- saftey No.1- Im personally geting my HIDs installed sometime next month on my B13- do you think that it will cut down on the lighting considerably even with HIDs? Cant get much brighter than HID ya know- anybody care to chim in?
