So, I am about to make some "life changes" and I need to ditch the "extra weight" I have been carrying around and put everything I can into my new "life".
This was a VERY hard decision because I have had this car for the past 6 years and I have put a lot of time and work into it whenever I could. It has been a bitter sweet 6 years but that just makes it that much harder to let go of. Here are the details, good and bad.
Car:
1991 Nissan Sentra SE-R (aztec red)
174,192 Miles on the body
Engine was rebuilt about 2 years ago with new rods, ARP head studs, and cometic HG. Since that time, the car has seen 0 miles other than a few test spins for diagnostic purposes, which leads me to the bad:
It is leaking water/coolant from somewhere. I haven't taken the time to look it over, so it could be something small/easy, or it could be something really bad - I'm just not sure. It started to leak after I put a new IACV and 300zx radiator cap on. I did a compression test BEFORE the new cap and IACV and everything was within spec for the SR20DET.
The car was recently painted but the job was never finished. It isn't a total eye sore, but it needs to be touched up and wet sanded all over. The grille and fillers have yet to be painted, as well.
Good (mods):
Brand new Garrett T28 w/custom FMIC/piping
50lb MSD Inj w/ JGY fuel rail, Nismo adj. FPR, and in-line liquid-filled gauge
255 LPH Walbro
NX2000 Radiator
300zx Radiator Cap
New IACV assy.
3" JGY DP
3" Test Pipe
3" Dave's Magical Ass Pipes
Greddy Type-S
Z32 MAF
Calum Real-time ECU (usb)
New water pump
Lightweight UD Crank/Water pullies
More that I am forgetting.....
KYB AGX/Eibach Pro-Kits
ACT NX9-HDSS Clutch kit
Autometer Boost/Oil Pressure/Water Temp Gauges
Relocated Battery to trunk
New Black Carpeting
Apexi TT
Mechanical Boost Controller (not hooked up)
Sunny SS Front Bumper (4-fog)
Sunny Grille/Lights
Shaved side moldings
The car will start up and will make it down the road/around the block, but I haven't been working on it since I noticed the leak. It emits some white smoke on initial start up but does not seem to continue smoking after it starts moving, even under boost. I was having idling issues before swapping out the IACV but now it starts up and idles great.
As previously stated, the car has issues, from unknown origins, but with a little TLC and some blood/sweat/tears, it will be a GREAT car for track or DD (a little loud as a DD I must admit). This would be a project car for the next owner, but would not need NEARLY as much time/effort/money as I have already put into it.
I am not parting out the car, and will not consider doing so. I need to move it as a whole package, and if you would like to part it out after buying the whole car from me. then by all means, please do so.
ALSO....
I was cut off at an intersection and t-boned a truck in my SE-L. I am selling the car as is, damaged with 97k miles. No modifications other than KYB/H&Rs, slotted rotors, and some 91 cams. It drives fine but needs cosmetic work. It has been in a few accidents but would/could also be a good project car for someone. It is on Ebay here (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250132698557), but I really don't expect it to sell.
As you can see on that listing, I also have the SE-L wheels. I will sell these in one of three ways. If anyone is interested in buying everything (both cars and wheels), then they are yours no matter what. If you add $500 to the asking price for either vehicle, they are yours. See prices below if you are interested. I am not selling the wheels separately at this time.
