ok im gettin pissed. i have a 1991 NX 2k and every once in a while the damn thing wont start. the radio will work so i know its not the alternator. plus the alternator is new. i got the battery tested but that turned out good. i changed the metal connectors that connect the wiring to the battery. but the damn thing still screws up here and there. i think it might be mainly when it rains but im not sure does anyone know what might be the problem so i can tell my mechanic?

hey Juan..
check the starter cable make sure nuthin down there is loose or looks corroded/rusted...if u think it is caused from water definitely check the starter and battery connections for corrosion/moisture..good luck homie...

If the hard starting usually occurs when raining, you can try to "mist"(light water spray) the ignition system(wires, cap, coil) and to check for arcing.
