Doing a search on here for the AEM CAI gives some conflicting results.

One question: I just want to know where is the cheapest place to get one for B14?

Found another for $275 so far has been cheapest.

Group buy center always has sales on them.

I had a AEM. and went to HS... did I noticed any diff from HS to AEM?? NO.

I installed the AEM and went from 14.9 @ 93 with the Hotshot to a 14.7 @ 94 with the AEM. And the tires were worst. So was the 60 ft. So I picked up more.

Sure it cut your time and all.. but I dumped mine for HS.. AEM is cool.. but I traded for HS plus cash... so I was not trippin.

Argh. Well I definately want the AEM. If I can just find it for a decent price.

Nothing is wrong with them. It's just I've had 2 Place Racings and 1 Hotshot.

There is a sensor on the side of the stock airbox, its a little sensor that has 2 screws holding it in, where does it go on a new intake. Is there a pre-cut place for it on the new intake or do you have to make one?

You may be referring to is the temp sensor, and you don't really need it.

LMAO! DAMN I love those pictures. To answer your question, as storm mentioned, it is the air-temp sensor. I know that on my hotshot CAI, there is a small hole on the MAF adapter that it fits in to. Although it is looser than a dirty whore and always seems to come out. Right stiletto? :D I think we had this discussion earlier. I think on an older sentra though, the temp sensor goes into the second pipe, aka the cold air extension, right before it goes into the fender. I believe PR works this way also.

anyone know any online stores which cell the hotshot intake?

I took my air temp sensor and installed it. I cut a whole with a razor in one of the rubber connectors and drilled 2 holes for the small screws. I placed it just before the MAF. Worked perfect. I don't know if it makes a difference or not with or with out it. But if it's on the car why not use it? I know this is not the 4 sale forum but I have my old Hotshot CAI in the basement if someone want it. PM if interested.
And by the way I didn't notice a difference with my but dyno between the AEM & HS, but the trap speed said something different to me :-)

I made a mistake when getting my CAI. I bought it from Importpartsplus.com. LET ME TELL YOU, this place sucks too bad for me to ever do business w/ them again! It took exactly 5 weeks for me to get the intake. Thomassr20 had a similar problem with them also. Took 2-3months for his stillen lip to get in from importpartsplus. Waste of my money and time also. Bought express delivery, still took 5 days to get here from their place once it was finally shipped. DAMN YOU IMPORTPARTSPLUS!!!
