Ok, everyone. I was informed that there is supposed to be a HUGE meet coming up in July. Here is the website with the information. I do not know who is setting this up but I would represent none the less.

http://www.lostprojects.com/FloridaNISSANGathering.htm

If anyone can give some insight on this it would be greatly appreciated. Anyway hope to see you all.

Am I the only idiot who can't access this site. I click on the enter, but nothing and nowhere to sign up. Kind of hard to RSVP when I can't access the data. I haven't done any mods to my car, but it might be nice to meet some of the other owners.... even if I am an "old" guy.

Later,
Mark

YES! :D

JK, it works for me, if you want to RSVP, you need to send an email to info@lostprojects.com

it says the following: Please contact us if there are incorrect information listed. When you guys RSVP, please include the following information - AOL or FA handle, name, model (year, color, and coupe or hatch), and e-mail address.

I dont know if I'll be going. It might be fun, but I will see if time and money permits.

Hey Guys,

I am Ian, from Lost Projects Performance in the Tampa area. I am glad that this thread was posted here. The gathering so far has around 70 people RSVPd, with an estimated of 90+ cars attending. It will be held on the weekend of 4th of July. We already have all the details listed at the link posted above, just follow that link and you should be able to get all the related info right there.

A lot of people have been asking what's the cost to join the event, the answer to that is nothing. The only time money will become involved will be if you are interested in purchasing a raffle ticket or to dyno your car. Other then that, we will have a BBQ setup, anyone and everyone's welcome, it's a bring your own meat deal.

I hope everyone's able to make it out, it should be great!!!

If you have any questions, please let me know.

info@lostprojects.com

Thanks all

Ian

Alright Tallahassee, Jacksonville, Gainesville folks, where you at? I am driving the 4.5 hours down from Georgia. Others are coming from Atlanta (7.5 hours). This should be a very big meet. Let's make it bigger!

I'll be there. If you have never seen Watanabe RS-8's (extremely rare drift wheels from Japan) they will be on my SEL.

Okay, here's my idiot question for the day:

"Where is Lake Park?". I've lived in Tampa, except for 4 1/2 years, since 1981. I have no idea where it is and no one else in my family is any help.

I've accessed the website for lostprojects, but, somewhere in the past, I must have enabled/disabled something because I can't click on any of the boxes.

I've tried looking at a map, but my close up eyesight is useless... it's an age thing and I'm not about to tell my wife that I need bifocals(hell no, I won't go)... I'd rather squint than wear them.

Mark

I know where it is now... it's where they used to have, or still do, horse shows. Krist, I don't want to be parking in horse poo!

Hope to see and meet lots of people/owners there.

This is Florida during the summer.... when doesn't it rain?

Mark

I went, I saw, I met.... okay, only a couple of people. I was there with my wife, 2 1/2 yr. old son, my brother and his lady. Damn, it was friggin hot. Would have stayed longer, but because of the heat and the people with me, it just wasn't possible.

I parked my white classic in between 2 other white classics. It gave everybody an idea of the before and after possibilities. Krist, the cars on the sides of me had some "nicely" tuned engines(T28 turbo and whatnot). But, by golly, my car was clean... and has low mileage(trying to keep my car from feeling insecure because their engines were bigger)!

Met 92_SER, the front of his car looks even better in person. I believe he's now got the wiring hooked up for his turn signals. Wish I could have stayed longer, even more people were starting to arrive as we left. Ahhhh, maybe I'll stop by again manana.

There were only a handful of Classics....:( , but they represented very well.

One question: Does anyone know the person who was selling their 240? It looked nice. I've been trying to get my brother into a Nissan and the 240 fits him better. But, by the time he arrived to take a look at it, the driver had left.

Didn't really "know" anybody there, I'm not much on "mixing", but I still enjoyed myself. Pretty cool to see alllllll the Nissans in one place.

Mark
