Tigermiata

I just put a set of Konis in my Miata, and at the end of installation, it tells me to tighten the top nut to 25 ft-lb. It doesn't sound like much, but it squishes out the rubber blocks above and below the fender-level mount something fierce. Seems to work OK, though.
OK, what the heck does this have to do with SE-R's? Well, when I put the AGX's in that car, I don't recall seeing a torque setting, and IIRC I just snugged then down nice but that's it. Anyone know what the torque setting -- if any -- is on the front strusts of a 1996 SE-R?
You know, I haven't been happy with the handling of the SE-R and I wonder if I'm getting stupid amounts of rubber-block compression when first turning in and that's the problem. In addition, I wonder if it has anything to do with the "weirdo noise", see other topic.
OTOH, if the top-nut isn't supposed to be particularly tight, well, I'll just have to keep on looking elsewhere.
