Walrus FTW!!!

Once again we are doing another BBQ. We decided to do one each month as long as the weather is nice- no meets in the winter time.

I do not know exactly which grove we will have just yet, but please show your face at this meet. It will be at Bussie Woods - same as SE-R convention.

I rarely see any SR guys showing up to any meets, but Paul P, Jose, Louie, and Jorge. I am trying to set up some kind of track day soon, but I need some attendees to make this happen.

Autobahn again, 40-50 cars. I would love to run something like @ the convention again, it was a blast. Worse comes to worse - test n tune @ Gingerman on a weekday. 60 bux to run is not bad.

Still on but on the 29th, and its in pretty few groves before the SE-RCA convention. So just follow the road into the park like to the SE-R Convention- and it will be like 400 feet before there on the right hand side.

Can't miss it. I belive its in grove 22.

nearest location to the spot would most definetly have to be the Elk Grove Bowling Alley or from the other side ... Game Works. putting in either to your GPS should land you about within 1-2 miles of any given busse woods spot. Although if you want to get there from Chicago, i would probably irving park to 83. from 83 you can take that to thorndale and thorndale would take you to Rohwling... and Rowhling spills out right into higgins.... but only after a fun, yet simple meandering course... watch it, speed limit is 35 though. I would take this way if youre tryng to avoid highways. i think its sorta laid back

as long as im in this thread.... is anyone going to be bringing a grill of any sort? charcoal? food? beverages? napkins? plates? im willing to bring some food and stuff as long as im not going to be the only one. Provided someone will bring a grill....

We always have atleast one grill, charcoal etc.

We going to have food there, but you are welcome to bring your own food with you. We usually have enough for people there, but you don't wanna be left out w/o food so bring something with. Drinks etc...

If you are brining beers- no bottles are allowed, if you can't stand cans (I can't) then just make sure to hide the bottles.

I would put in Woodfield Mall into your GPS, and take Route 72 (Higgins) down to Woodfield. Right before RT 53 there will be an entrance on the LEFT hand side to get into the park. Thats if you are coming from the EAST going WEST on 72.

If you are coming from the WEST- Elgin etc.... then you want to take the 1st entrance on the RIGHT once you pass RT53.

Once you are IN the park, continue driving straight ( DO NOT make the 1st left turn, drive straight) , in approx 2 miles or so you will see us. Don't speed through the park, make sure to have a front license plate on the car and roll down your front windows if they are tinted. Schaumburg cops have become real anal about those 2 things, its easy tickets for them.

So.. just curious, whats the expected turnout? how many other forums is this posted on? etc, etc.

Is this specifically for sr20forum? or are the Z boys going to show up along with honda S2ks and do burnouts?

i really dont feel like going there and being kicked out an hour later because of some show off with a SCed 350z.
