im finishing up an engine swap right now and i also relocated my battery to my trunk and put in a cd player.
my car wasn't starting and i replaced the starter, i have new battery terminals, i used 0g wire for relocating my battery and i added another ground to my starter.
today i tried popping the clutch rolling down my driveway and the gauge cluster starting smoking and it didn't start.
im not really sure what to do from here or why the gauge cluster would start smoking when i pop the clutch, but not when i try to start it.
could there be a short under my dash thats messing with my ignition? but it shouldve started when i popped my clutch while i was rolling if it was my ignition right?

heres a picture of what is burnt on my gauge cluster. should i just follow that burnt ground and see if i find something wrong or is the problem probably in the cluster?

im about to try bypassing my clutch safety switch, but i dont think thats it.
