I am curious what you guys use to remove the following: The prior owner had someone use a highspeed buffer to "polish" the car. As a result, there are real fine scratches all over the hood, top and trunk. I am curious what you guys would use to remove those?

I am thinking of using a Meguiars cleaner, then a swirl remover. Follow that with a few coats of polish and finally a coat of the Gold class wax. I will be using a orbital buffer---not the high speed kind---to do the work.

Your suggestions?

Thanks!

Grab someone who knows how to use a buffer. They can buff this all out with no problem. It will cost you some cash but it will work.

My friend works in a detailing shop and is always bitch about weak buffing jobs, or when someone uses a buffer with out knowing how..

Make sure you grab someone who has an orbital buffer, this will keep those scratches down to a min. But again.. a nice Wax and Clear Coat with a person who knows how to use a buffer... you'll look all bling bling.. not scratches...!
Good Luck
