Hey guys.

I have S3 cams in my 94 se-r and I am wondering what I should set my Stillen cam gears too. I'm trying not to get too much dyno time in because I don't want to spend gobs of cash on it. So if someone could give me a place to start, that would be awesome. Oh, and I do have a Stillen ECU (JWT ECU sold by Stillen), but I don't know if the ECU has been programmed for S3 cams or not.

Does cam timing affect a cars fuel mixture at all?

Thanks

Chris

The s3's are designed to be optimized from the get go. You can shift your power band around with the cam gears so you either end up with more low end or more top end, but I think you'll sacrifice more than you'll gain in the other areas.

have you read this already: Cam gears (http://se-r.net/car_info/engine_performance_tuning.html#Adjustable Cam Sprockets)?

AFAIK adj. the cam timing won't affect fuel mixture. playing w/ ignition timing does that though.
