So every once in a while, mostly in traffic I get blue smoke out the exhaust, its usually random, but sometimes it only when I get on it but i will only smoke for a few seconds and then its clear, kinda like its pooling up somewhere and the boost pressure is clearing it all out. so I took my intake apart and on the intake before the turbo, where theres a hose that comes from the VC there is a clear trail of oil coming right from that hose. My motor passes with flying colors on the leak down test and compression and runs really strong. Does anybody know why this much oil is coming out of this hose? I just put a catch can in between this hose and the intake, hopefully it helps.

are you talking about the hose attatched to the outlet on the intake side compressor housing? If so you probably have oil coming out of your turbo, bad seal most likely.

I'm having the same problem man. Just blows blue smoke out randomly. I believe its a bad exhaust seal on my turbo.(motor is rebuilt and only has 3k on it) I doubt its the motor. Scared me at first but I'm not worried about it to much. I check my oil constantly and I have'nt burned any! So it's not a threat yet, I'm ready for it though. I'd say you got the same issue my man.

but in the intake the oil trail is before the intake, and its a clear sign, like its pouring out of that hose. its not the main intake tube that attaches to the turbo, its about inches torwards the filter, its a 15mm hose that runs from the valve cover to the intake
