I've searched all over but can't find the answer to my question, so I'm just gonna ask. I bought my car with the EGR already deleted, for background. Last night I pulled the intake piping apart to switch my setup to blow thru, and I see this vac hose just dangling. Upon inspection it was plugged. I figured I'd find where it went and just put a cap over the source, or at least shorten the hose, but when I tugged on it, the whole thing just came free. The end that was under the manifold had some sort of restrictor or coupler broken off in the tubing. The problem is that now I can't find where it came from. As far as I've seen there are only 3 vac points off the mani, once the EGR is gone... I have one coming straight off the TB, down to some sort of sensor. One comes off and makes a 90 degree bend, and it's capped. The last one comes off the back near the tps and goes to my FPR. Is there another one? I can't find any others. I've seen an FSM diagram, but it's terribly unclear as to what hoses actually connect to the manifold, so I was hoping for some real world experience, like from someone who's had their mani off lately.
I've been having some problems that made me think I had a vac leak, like high idle and lean idle, etc, but I've never been able to locate it. Any ideas? Am I missing something? Thanks in advance!
