Well i've got the car back from the body shop. ( Finally after a month. ) So now the body is straight and the paint is cool again. Now that the car is cosmetically impressive again, something else is fawked up. Now the car misfires under boost. I've tried new plugs, new wires, double checked the timing ( at 15 degrees ), everything seems fine. But car still misfires. Car went into the bodyshop running like a champ. After getting it back the car runs fine until I put in some cheap gas. I've got about a quarter of a tank left of the cheap stuff. Any suggestions on why the car would misfire like that? Probable causes?

Dude, get rid of the cheap gas. Replace the fuel filter?

they could have caused one of your IC hoses to come slightly undone when they fixed it, or the accident bumped it loose. check and make sure you dont have any loose hoses.

it is the cheap gas. guarenteed. put some octane boost in it and change your fuel filter. and always run high premium gas

This happened to my fathers customer earlier this week. His car pulled like a dog untill it went to get painted. When he got it back it wasn't reving past 4000 then it finally wouldn't start properly.
The problem was? The cat. It somehow got clogged up at in the painting booth or somewhere in the body shop.

After tearing apart my IC piping, replacing the plugs (3 times), replacing the wires, changing the air filter, redoing the turbo inlet pipe, repositiong the maf, checking the cap and rotor, and replacing most of the couplers on my IC piping....I found the problem. My fawking flange from my Turbo outlet was leaking like crazy. ( dang T28 ) I can't believe that I didn't check that first. Oh yeah and I forgot to metion my little bout with my fuel filter and the battle that was fought to change that little son of a gun. But all is good again in Turbo World. Actually for the very first time my T28 has seen 9 psi. ( I guess the flange had a minor leak from the very get-go. ) By the way...Some might say im smoking some ***** but the difference between 6psi and 9psi is like....Wow!:D
