The IC is a Spearco core that was coated with Swain Tech's Black Body Emitter Coating. Supposed to improve cooling efficiency, but I really like how it looks. Completely invisible when dark.

I think it was around $140 or so. Can't exactly remember, but the price will vary depending on the size of your IC. Their customer service is great. They were right on with their completion date, and arrival date. Packaging was done very carefully too.
I'm thinking if I ever upgrade, I would coat the manifold and exhaust housing with their White Lightning Thermal Barrier Coating. A friend of mine w/ FMAX Stg II has that coating and didn't encounter overheating problems during a hot-lapping event. Also, underhood temps are much reduced. I would expect similar prices for that coating too.
