For about the past week I have noticed that the exhaust is making strange sounds. When at idle, it sounds smooth with a few garbles here and there. While driving, the garbles are contstant when the gas pedal is slightly pushed. Basically, when I have the gas pedal pushed in enough to keep the car at a constant speed. As soon as I push the pedal a little more it goes away and sounds smooth again. I can do it in any gear at any speed. Not sure how to explain the sound. It's basically just a bunch of tiny breaks in the normal exhaust note. Just wondering if anyone knows anything about this. Otherwise, I'm going to go through the usuall ground cleaning and whatever else might cure a rough idle. Thanks. - Jamie

it just sounds like the car is a little rough. Check the timing and maf sensors and clean up the EGR tube. That is where I would start to help it clean up. my car was the same way till I did the EGR tube, then I got the AEBS header so I won't need the dang tube anymore.
