Does anyone have any idea how to order one on the east coast without having to pay 100-140 for shipping?
If anyone in the Mid-Atlantic area wants to split shipping, that could be an option.

TIA,

i ran into the same problem. The shipping was crazy! I wish there was a distributor on the east coast. I just got an NX2000 to go with the se-r, my brother will be doing the buildup on this project. he wants to learn the ropes. hopefully we will both be running the tracks. i put off getting the roll bar till then.

Splitting the shipping is the only way to cut the cost down. I ran into the same problem with mine.

Luckily, a local Mustang owner was ordering his at the same time, and we shipped them together and split it evenly.

Hit the local speed shops and see if anybody is thinking of ordering a bar, too. That's the only suggestion I have.

Good luck!

Having the bar shipped to a business is usually cheaper than shipping to a residence. I had mine shipped to a tire shop outside Chapel Hill.

That price was quoted from Ioport Racing to a business address.
So does anyone want to buy a rollbar and split shipping?:D

Ioport Racing. It's around 325 with the harness bar option.

I wonder what the shipping is on a turbo?:p That might bump me out of STS though:(

The rollbar won't really improve my autocrossing. I want to install some harnesses for upcoming track time.

Is that a rollbar, or a full cage? I'm guessing the harness bar goes behind the front seats, and is an anchor for a 5 point harness. Damn, guys, please don't tempt me like this.

I'm looking to get just the roll bar w/ harness bar option. Yes, it allows mounting of a 5 point harness.
