Well I gave the turbo BB B13 XE-R to my brother for his first car, and my dad already has a GTI-Rd NX, both of which I built, so getting bored of the FWD no traction game I went on a quest i guess you could call it, in hopes of a pretty N14 GTI-R from a company in Cali, well they were unable to deliver after months of waiting, then I came across this diamond in the rough, a Black with Black leather interior 95 Zenki S14 SE. Story behind it was that it was RB20 powered and right after it was finished it was stolen and stripped of its heart and wheels, and the guy only had liability insurance so as it sits its a shell with full interior, full exterior minus the headlamps, with a clear title. Got a long road trip ahead of me this coming friday, but I am hella excited because the S14 has been on my list of dream cars to build. I cant wait to start wrenching on her I have BIG plans! It will look so sexy with my black 06 Frontier towing a black S14 on a black flat bed trailer back home....oh yeah!

of course turbo or SC VQ40 is nothing more than a bored and stroked VQ35, compression ratio is lower making it better for turbo or SC, not to mention its cheaper to get ahold of because its out of a Frontier or Pathfinder not a motor out of a sports car such as the 350z, so buy the VQ40 bolt up a 6 speed 350z trans and drop her in, the VQ40 is strong as hell in my Frontier I cant wait to find out what one will do in a 240.

Who makes the VQ40 install kit?

vqswap.com its made for a VQ35 same as a VQ40 just internals are and the VQ35 or VQ40s are alot cheaper

you can find the motor and tranny all day on car-part.com, I think it will do great NA in a 240, it pulls hard in my frontier as it is, my friend has seen a titan motor in a 240 he said it was nasty

VH45DE is also pretty damn sweet, but I would love to have a VQ35DE in there. Just the sound from one of those motors is enough to make the heart flutter.
